ALUR CHAIR
Design configurations, geometry and patterns that are naturally generated by the theory of Constructal law signify efficiency in the evolution of nature. Like the natural flowing system in rivers, branches or veins, these elements hold particular shape and structure. These natural tendencies are the principles which manifest in the ALUR chair. The concept and shape of “nature efficiency” is replicated in its construction. This is done by splitting and bonding back the rattan, and utilizing its flexible characteristics. This allows for a minimal yet resistant structure, resulting in a graceful flow of lines that emanates continuous elegance.
